Responsibilities

Technical knowledge of various security systems and devices, including alarms, cameras, and access control systems, public address systems, and other security technologies
Proficiency in system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly and accurately
Experience in reading and understanding complex electrical and security system blueprints and schematics
Strong problem-solving skills to efficiently diagnose and repair system malfunctions
Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues and provide clear instructions to clients
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and maintenance of security equipment
Physical fitness and manual dexterity to handle tools and climb ladders when necessary
Knowledge of safety practices and regulations to maintain a safe working environment

Required

US Citizen and active Top Secret clearance
A bachelor's degree with no additional experience
In lieu of a bachelor's degree, can have an associate's degree plus 2 years of experience or a high school diploma and 4 years of experience
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work a regular schedule at the Washington DC locations
A team player with a customer-oriented approach
