HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER III
The Department of Health Care Access and Information is dedicated to ensuring healthcare access for Californians. The Health Program Manager III will oversee the Engagement, Governance, and Policy Group, directing professional staff in stakeholder engagement, governance processes, and policy analysis to further the office's mission of making healthcare more affordable.

Responsibilities
Plans, organizes and directs the work of professional staff in the Engagement, Governance, and Policy Group for the Office of Health Care Affordability (OHCA)
Responsible for the administration of stakeholder engagement, external affairs and communications; public governance bodies and processes including the Health Care Affordability Board and Advisory Committee; and policy analysis furthering OHCA’s statutory mission and purpose
Qualification
Required
Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment

Preferred
3 or more years of experience operating in a public or private health care program
3 or more years knowledge in developing administrative or program policies and procedures
2 or more years experience managing public decision making bodies or boards
2 or more years experience developing or analyzing legislative and/or policy proposals
2 or more years experience managing external relationships with stakeholders
Experience developing regulations in accordance with California's Administrative Procedures Act
Experience presenting to public bodies such as the legislature, or administrative bodies or boards
Experience developing public messaging campaigns
