Program Scheduler

Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. They are seeking a Project Scheduler to manage various projects through the development and tracking of resource-loaded schedules, contributing to the planning and evaluation of aerospace systems.

Responsibilities

Develop the resource loaded plan for the company’s various projects
Contribute to budget management for the company’s various projects
Keep the team current regarding its upcoming activities and deadlines
Manage the engineering schedule for all of engineering and its projects
Develop tools, as needed, for analysis to complete their tasking
Perform schedule based risk analysis on the company’s projects
Help evaluate risks and risk mitigation plans to determine if the risks are appropriate and risk mitigations are adequate
Regular and comprehensive communication to the Hypersonics Program Director on a weekly and monthly basis
Contribute to the integration of complex aerospace systems
Travel, as needed, to support the Director and/or the department
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity and fulfillment of commitments

Required

Knowledge of, and experience with, one or more of these disciplines: systems engineering, project management, launch vehicle integration
Experience with technical aerospace leadership, including working with sub-contractors
Experience with requirements development, with a focus on interface management
Experience with risk management
Facilitation skills and ability to communicate technical challenges and guidance to varied audiences to gain support or resolve concerns
Ability to work on their own initiative and prioritize tasking to fit within the business goals
Complex aerospace system development
Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
Engineering software tools
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Requirements management tools
MS Project
Configuration management
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and 5-10 years of experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and 10-20 years of experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) and 20+ years of experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred

Launch vehicle development experience
Experience with government agencies
Experience with air-launch programs
Security clearance
