Strategic Planner for Facilities (Administrative Officer 2)
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Strategic Planner for Facilities within the Department of General Services. This role involves managing administrative tasks, facilitating communication, and assisting in decision-making processes while strategically planning for the Bureau’s success.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Bureau Director to strategically plan for the Bureau’s success and future growth including succession planning
Serve as the human resource (HR) lead for the bureau and coordinate all hiring, onboarding, and training
Assist with the drafting, updating and administratively managing contracts for the Bureau of Facility Management
Coordinate the purchasing of unique services and equipment that is used to maintain the DGS owned and managed buildings
Qualification
Required
One year as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
You must have strategic planning experience in an (Information Technology) background
You must have experience multitasking and handling competing high priorities
You must have professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
You must be able to perform essential job functions

Scrum/lean experience
