Drug and Alcohol Program Analyst
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is seeking a Drug and Alcohol Program Analyst within the Bureau of County Program Oversight/Division of Prevention and Treatment. This role involves monitoring and supporting Single County Authorities in the treatment of substance use disorders, as well as planning and developing programs and technical assistance for substance-related initiatives.

Responsibilities
Monitoring, guiding, supporting, and assisting SCAs through review of SCA Treatment Needs Assessments and SCA Treatment Plans and Updates
Perform professional, consultative and administrative work on behalf of and throughout the Commonwealth’s Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Service System
Plan, develop, provide technical assistance, and monitor programs associated with substance related and addiction disorders
Collecting, organizing, analyzing and presenting data for planning, developing, and monitoring public and private programs and initiatives associated with substance related and addiction disorders
Serving as the project manager, as required for Federally Funded Grant Programs, which includes oversight, management and monitoring of all aspects of the contracted programs
Participate in the implementation and review of Funding Initiative Announcements to address statewide substance use epidemics
Development of tools for assessing the applicant’s ability to respond to the crisis
Monitor grants awarded to include use of program evaluation tools and metrics
Qualification
Required
Two years of professional experience in social service or human development programs including one year of program planning, developing, and monitoring experience of the same; and a bachelor's degree; or
Any equivalent combination of experience and training
You must meet the PA residency requirement
