Update Code packages, send out Code Reviews by following a well-defined process
Run scripts to generate network configs
Travel to LAB sites to apply configs
Qualification
Required
Should have a minimum of 5 years industry experience
Excellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols for both IPv4 and IPv6
In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols preferably BGP and OSPF
In-depth knowledge of and experience with major routing and switching platforms preferably Cisco Catalyst and Nexus and Juniper SRX QFX MX
Excellent network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills
Candidates should have significant past experience with many of the following: LAN/WAN Ethernet MSTP VRRP GSLB anycast multicast MPLS TACACS IPSEC VPN Netflow SNMP syslog
Willing to work flexible hours as needed and participate in a team on-call rotation
Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking core technologies such as IP TCP OSPF BGP Firewalls ACLs DNS DHCP IPAM etc
2 years of major internet routing protocols experience through network layers 1-4
2 years of working in a Linux/Unix environment
1 years of network automation scripting using Python Perl Bash or similar
Experience with cloud networking in AWS using Terraform or CDK
Lead improvements in existing processes and identify opportunities to enhance or develop new processes
Experience working in a highly available network and highly operationally aware
Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures
Experience with IPv6/IPv4 design and implementations
