Specialist – Product Quality Assurance & Customer Experience
Vanguard Safety is one of the fastest growing PPE brands in the US, and they are seeking a Specialist to support the Operations and Product Management teams. This role involves ensuring product safety and quality, as well as enhancing customer experience through effective inspection, testing, and collaboration with various teams.

Responsibilities
Product Inspection & Testing: Inspect finished goods to ensure they meet established safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Perform routine and non-routine tests on products to verify compliance and performance. Document results and report any discrepancies. Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, test outcomes, and corrective actions taken
Process Improvement: Assist in identifying areas for improvement to enhance product quality and minimize issues
Reporting: Assist in preparing reports related to quality metrics, issues, and customer complaints
Customer Experience: Own and execute against specialty customer requirements ensuring outbound orders meet quality expectations and other specialty requirements
New Customer Onboarding: Assist in ensuring new customers’ needs and delivery expectations are properly documented and uploaded into appropriate systems
Collaboration: Work closely with product, sourcing, and operations teams to address quality issues and ensure product quality standards are maintained. Own the QC process from start to finish
Qualification
Required
Previous experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role, ideally in a manufacturing or PPE related industry
Previous experience in a warehouse / office setting
Previous experience in a customer facing role
Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and compliance (ex: OSHA, ISO, ASTM)
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
