Responsibilities
The Quality Coordinator will assist in developing an organizational culture of quality care and performance improvement
Utilizes a variety of data reports to measure, analyze and improve clinical quality and outcomes
Performs chart audits, workflow analysis and other activities to measure and monitor clinical quality
Will assess, recommend, implement and monitor appropriate measures to track performance and identify areas of opportunity to facilitate improvement teams and provide education to staff based on identified needs
Assist medical staff through the Peer Review process and actively supports National Patient Safety Goals and High Reliability initiatives within the organization
Assist with monitoring accreditation and regulatory standards and participates in hospital surveys
Qualification
Required
Baccalaureate degree in nursing or relevant field of study
Minimum of 5 years clinical experience
Preferred
Prior experience with PI and data collection/analysis
