Project Manager
Leidos is an industry and technology leader serving government and commercial customers. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee and manage projects for a critical air defense program, ensuring requirements and milestones are met while collaborating with various teams to execute projects efficiently.

Responsibilities
Develop resource loaded project schedules and managing the tasks, dependencies, and risks to deliver projects on time and within budget
Oversee and coordinate multiple projects while monitoring and managing risks
Collaborate with the manufacturing facility teams, including functional support teams, subject matter experts, contracts, subcontracts, finance and security, to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet cost, performance, and schedule objectives
Set project goals, develop plans to meet those goals and report status throughout the project lifecycle
Brief and present project plans to key stakeholders
Organize meetings to discuss project goals and progress
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
Demonstrated success in working with leadership to understand and define resource needs of your project
Experience in performing project audits; monitor/tracking of corrective actions; managing process improvement; performing process checks on internal procedures; and reviewing contract deliverables
Demonstrated success in multi-tasking, self-assigning work, and functioning in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Proficiency with MS Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, SharePoint, and PowerPoint)
Prior experience managing complex projects to include scope baselining, budgeting, scheduling, and performance monitoring/reporting
Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area
Must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance OR meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance
Preferred
Demonstrated expertise in Lean principles, manufacturing metrics, and continuous improvement
Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint accounting software is a plus
Familiarity with Solumina MES software is a plus
Familiarity with Agile or Windchill PLM software is a plus
Strong personnel, planning, and project management skills
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
