Responsibilities
Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses
Conduct tax research and analysis to provide insights and recommendations
Assist in tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
Work closely with clients to address their tax concerns and provide guidance
Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations that affect clients
Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax compliance and advisory
Extensive knowledge of the tax laws for S-Corps, C-Corps, Partnerships and Individuals required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Understanding of a broad range of accounting issues including those involving higher levels of judgment such as: priority for income taxes, revenue recognition, subsequent events, contingencies and industry-specific issues
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Trust and Estate (Fiduciary) tax knowledge preferred
CPA strongly preferred or in pursuit of CPA
