Methode Electronics is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Engineering Manager to lead their Low Voltage and High Voltage engineering teams. This role involves driving technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration, and program execution across all electrical systems development.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary engineering team

Foster a culture of technical excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Align team goals with organizational objectives and product roadmaps

Provide technical direction for the design, development, and validation

Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements

Review and approve engineering documentation, schematics, and test plans

Oversee university collaboration agreements

Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple programs

Collaborate with Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure successful product launches

Support manufacturing plants as needed

Manage risk and resolve technical issues throughout the product lifecycle

Support customer engagements, technical reviews, and proposal development

Drive innovation and technology roadmaps in alignment with strategic goals

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering discipline or related field

10+ years of experience in systems engineering and at least 5 years in a leadership role

Deep understanding of LV and HV architectures, components, and safety standards (e.g., ISO, UL, IEC)

Strong project management and communication skills

Ability to lead in a fast-paced, matrixed environment

Demonstrated global management experience

Proven leadership skills
