This role involves leading audience strategy and market intelligence initiatives across game titles, translating complex data into actionable strategies to guide brand and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

Develop integrated audience strategies using research, competitive, and performance data
Advise product management teams on player expectations, motivations, and cultural context
Recommend target segments and positioning strategies to maximize resonance and reach
Embed with game teams to represent the player voice and market dynamics throughout development
Guide research initiatives to address strategic questions across the portfolio
Frame hypotheses, scope, and deliverables; mentor teams on research design and execution
Build and maintain a centralized market data repository for cross-team use
Monitor competitive launches and emerging technologies; produce timely retrospectives and updates
Assist with marketing budgeting and forecasting
Partner with Franchise Planning teams to identify portfolio gaps, growth opportunities, and strategic risks
Craft concise, high-impact memos, decks, and briefings for senior leadership
Present clear options, tradeoffs, and implications to drive alignment and decisions
Demonstrate executive presence and influence across cross-functional teams

Required

8+ years in marketing strategy, consulting, research, or consumer insights within gaming, entertainment, or adjacent industries
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Decision Sciences, Psychology, Business, Computer Science, or related analytic field
Proven experience using market insights to drive growth and inform product and brand strategy
Thrives in uncertain environments and independently drives problem resolution
Track record of cross-functional influence, particularly with publishing, studio, product, and marketing teams
Ability to lead both the strategic vision and operational delivery of performance insights
Passion for games and player-first storytelling
