Responsibilities

Lead coordination efforts across internal IT and business employees, vendors, brokers, and customers toward common deliverables

Maintain wider team problem-solving and analysis, balancing data, technology, business, and operational issues to deliver viable solutions

Manage smaller to medium sized projects according to internal methodologies, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget

Support change management processes and user needs

Conduct detailed business analysis to identify stakeholder needs and develop solutions for business problems

Create and validate comprehensive system functional and technical specifications

Develop and execute user acceptance test plans and scenarios

Perform data analysis to support system defect evaluation and new functionality requirements

Facilitate communication between local users and central IT teams

Manage system upgrades and ensure successful resolution of incidents and anomalies

Required

Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field

3+ years in a Business Systems Analysis role, with a focus on the Energy industry

Knowledge of software development lifecycle methodologies, data modeling, and entity relationships

Familiarity with the U.S. Retail Energy, Energy Wholesale Trading, and/or Distributed Energy sectors

Personable, team-oriented, respectful, and empathetic individual who is comfortable working with both on-site and remote team members

The ability to analyze complex problems, break them down into manageable components, and derive meaningful insights to support decision-making processes

A forward-thinking approach to aligning business objectives with technology solutions, anticipating future challenges, and identifying opportunities for innovation and growth

Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, requirements, and recommendations clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders across functional and technical departments
