Program Assistant-Libertas Center for Human Rights
Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a Program Assistant for the Libertas Center for Human Rights at Elmhurst Hospital. The role involves supporting culturally responsive services for immigrant survivors of torture and human rights violations through program administration, health education, and data management.

Responsibilities
Assist the Libertas team in ensuring that the medical, mental health, social and legal needs of immigrant survivors of human rights violations are met in a comprehensive and efficient manner
Support the implementation of new health education services and peer-support model through coordination with key stakeholders, development and dissemination of materials, monitoring and evaluation, and overall project management
Provide administrative support to program and clinical staff
Create a welcoming, nonjudgemental environment for Libertas Center clients
Assist with tracking and maintaining program budgets
Maintain program database including entering client data
Prepare both narrative and data reports for internal use and to funding agencies
Facilitate and manage relationships with new and ongoing partner organizations
Perform other special projects or other duties as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Arts or Science
Experience with data management and analysis
Experience with project development and management
Proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite
Knowledge of and experience with communications and design platforms such as Mailchimp, Squarespace, Canva and WordPress
Experience supporting the implementation or programs or projects in the field of human rights, global health, immigration, or human services
Preferred
Fluency in Spanish, French, Bangla, or other languages a plus
