New GradBelmont University is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Fellow in Drug Information to complete a two-year post-graduate program in collaboration with HealthTrust Performance Group. The fellow will develop skills in various practice settings, assist in pharmacy operations, and engage in teaching and research activities.

Responsibilities
Responsible for participating in a practice within HealthTrust that involves pharmacy operations to develop internal training materials as well as member facing resources regarding regulatory, operational, sourcing, and clinical information
Assist the HealthTrust Director with drug shortage mitigation including the creation of drug shortage guidance and supply chain mapping
Assist the GPO Sourcing team with various projects to help manage current contracts
Assess 503B suppliers’ quality management practices and portfolios
Teach within College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (i.e. assist in precepting APPE students and teach in didactic courses)
Perform all faculty functions related to the management of the Christy Houston Foundation Drug Information Center including: responding to drug information requests, fact checking, and resource management
Participate in a teaching certificate program (if eligible)
Conduct an original research project
Precept students at Belmont University and HealthTrust
Other projects as assigned by the HealthTrust Director
Abide by all relevant university and/or departmental procedures and policies
Qualification
Required
Graduated from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy prior to the start of the fellowship term
Pharm.D. (prior to June 1, 2026)
Knowledge of principles, methods and current developments in the field of study
Knowledge of subject matter and course content taught
Ability to learn and apply instructional strategies and techniques
Willingness to instruct, manage, motivate and evaluate students
Skilled in the use of computers, Internet resources, and MS Office software
Ability to learn relevant sections of BannerWeb, Belmont University's online integrated database system for student grading
Ability to integrate technology into the teaching and learning process
Ability to successfully interact with students, other educators and educational institution representatives, and the general public in a professional manner
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Knowledge of the programs and services offered by Belmont University
Interest and ability to work collaboratively in course design and to teach interdisciplinary and topical courses
Excellent oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis in ethics and professionalism
Must acquire pharmacist licensure in the state of Tennessee with 180 days of starting the fellowship
