Business Development/ Admissions (SNF)
Eduro Healthcare is seeking a Business Development/ Marketing Director for Ennis Care Center, focusing on skilled nursing experience. The role primarily aims to ensure high-quality resident care and foster a positive community reputation while adhering to company values.

Responsibilities
Perform assigned administrative duties in accordance with established procedures and as directed by your supervisor, to assure that a successful, viable administrative program is always maintained
Assume the authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out the duties of this department
Responsible for monthly monitoring and tracking of the budget expenditures in the Admission and Hospitality departments
Responsible for monitoring and tracking of monthly, quarterly, and annual census outcomes
Each morning confirms any admissions or discharges from the previous day. Update the discharge list on the census
Email the updated census out in the morning and upon any changes that may occur during the day
Attend management meeting daily
Call on inquiries, pending admissions, etc. Pass admission inquiries on to DON for review as soon as they come in. Copy the face sheet and screened admit form and then pass it along to the business office for review of insurance coverage, payment status, etc
Handle all inquiries professionally and according to established procedures, while providing appropriate information regarding the facility. Monitor and track all inquiries
Call transportation to inform them of the pick-up time. Notify admit nurses and hospital of admission
Sign in residents and families who are admitting. Make two copies of the documents, providing the original signed admit papers to the business office, and placing one of the copies in the chart and one copy with the medical records
Conduct tours of the facility mentioning survey history, staffing ratios, therapy outcomes, etc
Maintain a rapport with discharge planners to ease admission process
Coordinate resident admissions, ensuring all requirements are met
Coordinate welcoming of new resident and family with the Hospitality Coordinator
Develop and call upon referral sources such as hospital discharge planners, assisted living centers, home health agencies and community resources involved with geriatric care
Monitor competitor activities regarding marketing, community involvement and services provided
Coordinate public events to include in and out of facility events
Notify resident’s family and the public of essential information regarding changes
Participate in public, civic and association events, especially those that involve the geriatric population
Create a positive image in the community for the facility
Provide support and information to administration regarding handling media inquiries and questions
Qualification
Required

Completion of orientation required by company policy
Health screening and TB test within two weeks of employment
Mandatory drug test upon hire
Must be free of criminal activity proven by a criminal background check
Become familiar with and comply to all local, state, and federal regulations relating to the job
Show within three (3) days of hire satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment
