Responsibilities
Lead Transformation: Design and implement next-gen tax technology solutions that optimize global processes and support strategic tax transformation goals
Innovate & Automate: Build dashboards, models, and workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Alteryx to automate tax data management and compliance tasks
Drive Data Insights: Convert raw data into actionable intelligence with advanced analytics and visualization tools, supporting tax planning and regulatory reporting
Leverage AI: Apply tools like MS365 Copilot and Google Notebook LM to enhance automation, process efficiency, and decision-making capabilities
Collaborate & Integrate: Partner with Tax stakeholders, IT, Finance, and external consultants to deliver seamless tax system integrations, ensuring alignment on priorities and progress
Own Key Platforms: Administer and optimize systems including Onesource Tax Provision, Corptax, Orbitax, and SharePoint, ensuring data integrity and system performance
Project Management: Oversee tax technology projects from strategy through implementation, managing cross-functional teams
Enable Adoption: Document processes, develop training materials, and facilitate change management activities to maximize technology ROI and user adoption
Reporting & Communication: Prepare, review, and present regular status updates and project documentation, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged
Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify project risks and obstacles; escalate or resolve as appropriate to ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and stakeholder expectations
Process Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and knowledge sharing within the tax technology and project management community
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Information Technology, Accounting, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
5+ years in corporate tax and tax technology, with experience leading technology-enabled tax transformation projects
Advanced ERP expertise (Oracle Fusion ERP/EPM or similar), and hands-on experience with tax software platforms (e.g., ONESOURCE, Corptax, Orbitax)
Proficiency in Power BI, Power Platform, Alteryx, SQL, and tax reporting tools
Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within scope
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Experience managing cross-functional teams and collaborating with IT, Finance, and external vendors
CPA or equivalent certification
Microsoft Power Platform and Alteryx Advanced certifications
Experience with ETL tools and APIs
Experience with tax process automation, data integration, and regulatory compliance in a multinational environment
