Responsibilities

Deliver quantitative support and strategic, data-driven perspectives to our partners throughout the organization, especially the C-suite

Demonstrate analytical expertise and thought leadership with quantitative analyses to help Success Academy make better decisions

Identify and measure success of initiatives through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring of key metrics to understand trends

Define, understand, and test opportunities and levers to improve operations through insights and recommendations

Develop and maintain Looker dashboards that are viewed by senior leadership and operation groups across the school network

Build and maintain SQL-based transformations in dbt for new and existing use cases, collaborating with data engineers as needed

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a technical field like Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology and/or experience in data analytics

6+ years of related experience working in an analytical, client-facing capacity

5+ years of experience with advanced SQL, including window functions

5+ years of hands-on experience in analysis, reporting, and data visualization tools, ideally Looker (alternatively Tableau, PowerBI, or similar) and Google Sheets

2+ years of experience delivering insights to senior stakeholders (C-suite or their direct reports)

1+ years of experience building data models with dbt

Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex findings in a concise and digestible manner

Strong critical and analytical thinking skills

Ability to lead projects independently and communicate effectively across a complex organization

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

Advanced Degree in an analytical discipline

Experience with People Analytics (e.g. retention/attrition)

Experience with Greenhouse and Workday data

Significant experience with LookML

Experience or knowledge of Education sector
