Responsibilities

Understand and comply with plant policies, procedures, and safety protocols

Conduct safety and quality inspections, report hazards, and actively participate in safety meetings

Ensure availability of all required materials for manufacturing and packaging the specific product

Troubleshoot and maintain the machine, as well as load and replace raw materials as needed within it

Maintain cleanliness of the machine and its surroundings, while also ensuring equipment and materials are neat and orderly

Perform and document quality and processing audits regularly to ensure compliance with production and quality standards

Relieve operators for breaks as needed

High School DiplomaEnglish proficiencyManufacturing experienceBasic math skillsMechanical abilitiesEffective communication

Required

A High School Diploma or equivalent

Legal eligibility to work in the US

Ability to speak, read, and write in English

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel

Basic math skills and some mechanical abilities

Demonstrate ambition by suggesting improvements and exhibit flexibility in accepting additional duties as assigned

Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary such as overtime, weekends, and travel

Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

Capable of lifting, pulling, and pushing up to 50 pounds of various sizes and shapes

Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time and climbing ladders or other equipment for cleaning
