Responsibilities
Frequently participates in special projects as a subject matter expert
Manages and oversees performance of vendors
Oversees response to highly complex arbitrations contentions
Oversees the negotiation of highly complex claim settlements
Oversees the resolution of highly complex customer conflicts or issues
Analyzes unit reports and supports the achievement of business unit objectives
Defines, analyzes, and tracks department, section, and/or unit measures
Reviews employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-alongs or sit-alongs and file reviews
Qualification
Required
Experience managing and motivating a team of adjusters or vendors
Ability to provide exceptional claims and inquiry service
Experience in overseeing performance and managing customer conflicts
Strong analytical skills to define, analyze, and track department measures
Experience in conducting performance reviews and providing coaching and mentoring
Ability to develop strategies to achieve employee performance levels
Experience in negotiating complex claim settlements
Ability to oversee the resolution of complex customer conflicts or issues
Experience in analyzing unit reports to support business objectives
Ability to participate in special projects as a subject matter expert
Willingness to lead a team of auto adjusters on the west coast
Location in the Pacific or Mountain time zones
