Human Resources Coordinator
Fora Health Treatment & Recovery is dedicated to creating freedom from addiction through accessible and well-integrated services. They are seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support the HR team by managing onboarding duties, employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Responsibilities
Models and supports an inclusive work environment where all staff are valued for their unique contributions
Answers telephone calls and assists with general inquiries from staff and public pertaining to areas of responsibility such as recruitment, internships, volunteer opportunities
Reviews and appropriately updates HR Policies and Procedures
Advises management and employees on HR issues, as assigned by the HR Manager
Assures compliance with all laws and regulations as they pertain to HR
Responds to requests for employment verifications
Maintains employee personnel files including document filing and retention schedule
Investigates complaints and grievances as directed by the HR Manager
Tracks requisitions and provides recruitment metrics as requested
Provides oversight and maintenance to applicant tracking system
Places recruitment ads with a variety of hiring resources
Posts internal job listings on a weekly basis and in accordance with CBA
Extends job offers to selected job applicants
Coordinates all aspects of volunteers and internships
Coordinates exit interviews with staff and interns and assists with voluntary/involuntary terminations
Ensures timely processing of FMLA/OFLA/Worker Compensation Requests and Disability Accommodations in compliance with current laws and regulations
Works with the HR Manager to oversee the benefit renewal process and manage employee participation
Monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
Track and maintains data for employee eligibility to drive agency vehicles
Processes key/fob requests and maintains key/fob access database
Works with consultants and managers to drive Fora health’s DEI Committee
Facilitates affinity group meetings as needed
Facilitates diversity related activities to include events and recognition related to DEI
Provides general oversight to ensure DEI benchmarks are being met
Maintains DEI community relationships as needed
Remains current on DEI events and education
Qualification
Required
One or more years of HR experience required
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Communicate information effectively in writing and verbally
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and documents
Social perceptiveness and service orientation
Initiative and problem-solving skills
Solid understanding of HR standards and employment law, including unemployment, workers' compensation, leave laws and the ADAAA
Ability to establish clear boundaries and set limits
For employees with a history of substance use disorder, Fora Health's policy requires certification of a minimum of six months of sobriety for this position
Ability to pass pre-employment or for cause drug tests
Position will require some amount of regular connection to work via cell phone to answer questions and respond to internal and external contacts
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field preferred
