Responsibilities
Conducts and/or participates in system technical and application reviews to determine feasibility, cost and evaluate usefulness for Inova Health System
Provides all standards information to/from vendors for acceptance to ensure proposed solutions meet all Inova standards to include technology compatibility, operational fit and security/compliance standards
Identifies best fit for processes and systems through analysis of software solutions while making appropriate recommendations for best fit
Leads project task force meetings or work groups. Writes minutes, vendor project correspondences and status reports
Assists in the development and implementation of team member training/mentoring activities
Receives requests for services and coordinates effectively with end-users to ensure requirements are clearly understood
Maintains vendor and user relationships while communicating status/problems in a timely and professional manner
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree; or Associate's degree and 2 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required; or HS Diploma/GED and 4 years relevant professional experience in addition to the minimum experience required
3 years of experience as a systems analyst
Preferred
Previous Desktop Administrator or Systems Analyst experience in a healthcare/hospital environment preferred
