Behavior Analyst in Training
Soar Autism Center is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services. The Behavior Analyst in Training role is designed for individuals actively completing their coursework to become a BCBA, providing supervision and support to clients and RBTs while gaining practical experience.

Responsibilities
Serve as a case supervisor for 2-4 client cases (10-20 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
Update client goals and programming, utilizing our electronic data collection platform
Provide direct supervision to a team of RBTs
Participate in ESDM specific trainings, growing your clinical skillset
Write Behavior Intervention Plans, utilizing the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) and Skill Based Treatment (SBT)
Training and coaching to be provided
Meet with families to conduct Family Treatment Guidance meetings and support, utilizing Soar’s in-house curriculum
Conduct and write assessment reports for new clients and re-assessments for established clients, including training on the Vineland, QABF, FAST, and the ESDM Curriculum Checklist
Receive coaching and feedback from Partner Clinician and other BCBAs in your clinic
Be a part of the Soar integrated care team, participating in interdisciplinary meetings for collaboration with Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Psychologists
Conduct direct client therapy (15-25 hours/week), set based on center needs and program progress
Qualification
Required
Must be enrolled in or recently completed a Master's program for ABA
Be within ~400-600 hours (or less) of completing all practicum hours to be eligible to sit for the BCBA Exam
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to help effectively plan their time
Demonstrate excellent skills in building rapport and trust with families as a behavior therapist
Demonstrate emerging skills in case conceptualization and client programming and planning
Demonstrate emerging skills in coaching and supervising RBTs to implement ESDM therapy
Desire to learn and grow and accept feedback
