Tulsa Community Foundation is part of the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium, which aims to enhance students' educational journeys. The T3 Student Success Coach provides vital support to students in technology, engineering, and applied science programs, focusing on academic guidance, career development, and retention efforts.

Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one coaching and support to assigned T3 students
Develop and implement individualized success plans for students
Monitor student academic progress and provide early intervention when needed
Facilitate career exploration and planning activities
Conduct regular check-ins with students to assess needs and progress
Connect students with academic and personal support resources
Deliver workshops on study skills, time management, and academic success
Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress
Collaborate with institutional partners to coordinate support services
Support industry connection initiatives and professional development activities
Participate in program assessment and improvement efforts
Qualification
Required
Experience in student support services, academic advising, or related field
Understanding of challenges and opportunities in technology, engineering, and applied science education
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations
Demonstrated experience in case management or student support
Proficiency in data tracking and reporting
Bachelor's degree required in Education, Technology, Engineering, or Applied Sciences
Three or more years of relevant work experience in higher education or student support services
Position requires sitting or standing and working with a computer for extended periods of time
Must be able to provide individual transportation to local events
Some travel required, occasional overnight travel
Must maintain a valid driver's license and auto insurance
This position is primarily 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break
Attendance of occasional evening community events may be required
This position includes a mix of virtual and in-person work settings due to regular site and campus visits, in-person, hybrid, and virtual meetings
Preferred
Knowledge of student development theory and best practices
Experience working with underrepresented students in higher education
Familiarity with technology, engineering, and applied science career pathways and industry requirements
Demonstrated success in student retention initiatives
Experience with academic support programming
Master's degree preferred
