Responsibilities
Expected to obtain a Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement within 9 months
Will learn to program truck ECU/TCU within 3 months
Will learn and use our AS400 manufacturing system within 3 months
Will become proficient in the product cost and specifications in order to reconcile quote to build process
Will become proficient in safe and effective product design based on government regulations and customer expectations
Will become proficient in DOT laws as they pertain to truck operations within 3 months
Will be trained in the design of the following for various products:
Vacuum Pump
Jetter Pump
PTO
Hydraulic Systems
Pneumatic Systems
Truck specifications/modifications as they pertain to:
40 Coded Federal Regulations
Customer’s Requirements
Tank Design
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
5-10 years' experience designing vac trucks
Advanced proficiency with CAD and SolidWorks (2D and 3D)
Knowledge in hydraulic design and operations
Knowledge in 12 VOLT DC electrical systems design and operations
Knowledge in finite element analysis methodologies
Interest in metal fabrication
Must be self-starter and motivated to bring projects to successful completion on time
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Valid Driver's License
