Responsibilities
Review, assess, and document business operations to ensure data integrity, security, and process efficiency
Investigate, recover, and resolve medical claims across health plans, commercial customers, and government entities
Manage subrogation claims, recoveries, and payment processing
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, reimbursement policies, and contract terms
Analyze claims data to identify issues, trends, and cost-saving opportunities
Apply sound judgment and factual analysis to resolve complex claims scenarios
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
Active Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credential
Experience in claims auditing, claims research, and medical coding
Solid understanding of claims processing systems and healthcare reimbursement guidelines
Background working in a healthcare environment
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Additional coding certifications (e.g. CCS, CPMA)
Experience with Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement methodologies
Exposure to claims platforms and medical billing systems
Strong Excel skills and experience working with claims data
