They are seeking a Field Services Health and Safety Specialist to support operational utility-scale solar and battery storage sites, focusing on field-based safety oversight and compliance for Operations & Maintenance and EPC-related activities.

Responsibilities

Inspect and audit utility-scale solar and battery storage sites to ensure compliance with DEPCOM Power standards, OSHA regulations, and customer requirements

Monitor daily field activities to verify safe work practices, including PPE use, lockout/tagout, and electrical safety

Conduct site walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented

Provide on-site safety support and coaching to field technicians, including audits and field assessments

Support the development and delivery of safety programs, procedures, training, and emergency response drills in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and NFPA 70E

Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions while partnering with EPC and O&M teams to drive continuous safety improvement

Qualification

Electrical operations experienceNFPA 70E knowledgeHealthSafety experienceSafety certificationsSolar PV systems knowledgeFirst Aid / CPR certificationEPCO&M experience

Required

Electrical operations experience

Working knowledge of NFPA 70E electrical safety standards

Hands-on experience in health and safety roles supporting field operations

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75%, including extended site assignment

Preferred

Relevant safety certifications such as CESCP, OSHA 511, NFPA 70E Training, or similar

First Aid / CPR certification

Working knowledge of solar PV systems, inverters, battery storage systems, and maintenance operations

Experience supporting both EPC and O&M environments
