Responsibilities

Assist in the design and development of Python libraries for ASME applications with Ansys and ParaView

Assist in the development and testing of new features into a MOOSE based structural mechanic’s code

Develop and document test cases to support the verification of MOOSE based structural mechanic’s code

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

Prepare technical reports and documentation

Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field

Must have a strong understanding of structural finite elements and finite element software

Must be proficient in programming, with a preference for Python and C++ languages

Must have experience with Linux HPC environment

Must be proficient in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks)

Must have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Must have strong communication and teamwork abilities

Must be self-motivated and eager to learn

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Experience with Ansys APDL/Mechanical and Cubit/MOOSE/ParaView is a plus
