Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain technical solutions that integrate multiple systems and tools, collaborating closely with engineers and architects
Lead design and code reviews, ensuring project plans are executed efficiently and operational processes run smoothly
Create complex algorithms to meet business requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical and production issues, coordinating end-to-end solutions
Mentor and guide other engineers, reviewing their code and providing technical feedback
Influence and improve architectural standards, system performance, and quality practices within your domain
Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory policies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience
At least 6 years of software development experience demonstrating deep technical expertise
4 years of experience delivering solutions across the full software development lifecycle, including leading design and code reviews
Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, SQL, JavaScript, Swift, Objective-C, C++, Kotlin, HTML, CSS, or Go
Proven experience troubleshooting complex systems and generating innovative solutions
Understanding of secure coding practices and cloud technologies
Preferred
5+ years of SAP Insurance module experience (FS-CD preferred; FICA considered), ideally in S/4HANA Cloud
In-depth knowledge of FS-CD processes including billing, payments, master data, and reporting
SAP ABAP expertise, including RICEFW, object-oriented design, and technical documentation
Familiarity with SAP Business Rules, Business Partners, and system configuration
Knowledge of SAP APIs (REST, CDS, AMDP, OData/SEGW, RAP) and ABAP on HANA development
Techno-functional ability to bridge business requirements and technical solutions while supporting payment operations and SLAs
