Systems Engineer
VersaTrust is a technology solutions provider specializing in IT managed services and digital transformation. The Systems Engineer will ensure a white-glove experience during client projects by managing various technical environments and collaborating with vendors and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities
Implement or be involved in projects and technologies including, but not limited to, client projects, network upgrades, office/workstation relocations, server migrations, firewall and switch installation and configuration, server virtualization, Office 365 migrations, and more
Collaborate with vendors and clients to effectively plan and execute client application upgrades
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for clients' networks, ensuring all standard documentation is up-to-date and accurate
Serve as the primary technical lead during onboarding and offboarding engagements, ensuring delivery and technical expertise throughout the process
Collaborate with the Project Manager to maintain strong client relationships, addressing any technical concerns or issues promptly and professionally
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality technical solutions and exceeding client expectations
Serve as an escalation point for challenging technical issues that present themselves to other analysts during customer projects
Serve as the “face” of the Systems Engineering team to mid-market and enterprise clients to ensure the health of the client relationship
Attend meetings with other high-level technical company resources to solve immediate emergencies, threats, or outages
Act as quality control for junior Systems Specialist’s work and documentation
Provide technical and professional mentorship to entry and junior team members
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are handled appropriately
Participates in cross-department meetings to provide high-level technical solutions
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, server/storage systems, virtualization, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, M365)
Proficiency in managing and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, and related services
Experience with configuring and troubleshooting network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
Ability to analyze system performance and implement improvements based on data-driven insights
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are highly desirable
Knowledge and skills in AWS, Azure, O365, Virtualization, and other technologies are a major bonus
Experience with ITIL frameworks, Six Sigma methodologies, and M&A integrations is a plus
