Responsibilities

Provide real-time support for electronic trading systems during market hours
Monitor and troubleshoot trading applications, market data feeds, and exchange connectivity
Investigate and resolve production issues across Linux servers, networks, and applications
Work closely with traders to diagnose and resolve trading-related issues quickly and accurately
Partner with development teams to deploy, test, and support new trading tools and system enhancements
Perform root-cause analysis of incidents and contribute to post-mortems and system improvements
Automate monitoring, alerting, and routine operational tasks where possible
Participate in on-call or early/late trading support rotations as required

Qualification

Required

2+ years of experience in a production support, systems engineering, or trading technology role
Strong Linux/Unix skills (command line, process management, troubleshooting)
Experience supporting low-latency or high-availability systems in a production environment
Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, multicast, latency, packet loss)
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar
Ability to troubleshoot under pressure and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical users
Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset

Preferred

Experience supporting electronic trading systems or market data platforms
Familiarity with FIX protocol, exchanges, or order management systems
Exposure to SQL, monitoring tools, or log aggregation platforms
Background in finance, trading, or financial technology
