Responsibilities

Ensure that safe workplace behaviors are taught, emphasized, and practiced at all times
Help foster team pride in maintaining orderliness and cleanliness within the facility
Provide hands-on guidance to colleagues in the fulfillment center to ensure successful merchandise movement while meeting service, accuracy, and productivity standards
Train, cross-train, and certify colleagues in all operational areas as needed, addressing any training deficiencies in collaboration with the manager
Support the development of all hourly colleagues and encourage the growth of high-performing team members
Guide daily operations to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between different areas, maintain a clean and organized workplace, and prioritize the personal safety of all colleagues
Practice open communication; keep others informed; present ideas and feedback clearly in both written and verbal forms; conduct daily team meetings
Recognize and celebrate individual and team achievements with positive reinforcement. Ensure colleagues are aligned with continuous improvement goals and encourage them to suggest process and culture enhancements
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities

Required

Ability to effectively supervise and guide colleagues in assigned work areas
Skills in fostering team pride and promoting a clean and orderly work environment
Experience in training, cross-training, and certifying colleagues, with a focus on addressing training deficiencies
Ability to support the development of hourly colleagues and nurture high-performing team members
Skills in guiding daily operations to ensure effective coordination and cooperation across different areas
Proficiency in open communication, keeping others informed, and presenting ideas clearly in both written and verbal formats
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules and procedural manuals
A resourceful self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in using computers and handheld technology effectively
Candidates with a High School diploma or equivalent are encouraged to apply
This position requires heavy lifting, constant moving, standing, and reaching with arms and hands
Involves standing for at least two consecutive hours, lifting at least 50 lbs. stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
May involve reaching above eye level
Requires close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on department and company needs
