Responsibilities

Launch Planning & Execution: Own and manage the comprehensive, cross-functional NPI/Launch Checklist for new hardware products into the commercial channel, tracking deliverables, milestones, and dependencies across all contributing teams (e.g., Engineering, Marketing/ GTM, Sales, Operations, Legal)
Cross-Functional Coordination: Serve as the central communication hub and primary point of contact for all launch-related activities, ensuring alignment and clear communication between product management, engineering, operations, supply chain, sales, and marketing teams
Schedule & Risk Management: Develop, maintain, and drive consensus on the overall launch schedule. Proactively identify potential risks, roadblocks, and schedule deviations, developing mitigation plans and escalating issues appropriately to leadership
Accountability & Drive: Institute and manage a rigorous process of holding cross-functional team members accountable for their committed deliverables and timelines, using data and clear communication to drive results and maintain launch readiness. Partner with the GTM team for launch success
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the NPI and product launch process to enhance efficiency, predictability, and quality for future product introductions
Communication & Reporting: Provide regular, concise updates on launch status, risks, and critical path items to executive leadership and stakeholders, tailoring the message to the audience

Required

5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or New Product Introduction (NPI) specifically within a high-tech hardware or consumer electronics company
Tech-savvy with a solid understanding of the product development lifecycle for the HP Z workstations or HP Elite products, including familiarity with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate complex problems simply and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
Strong collaborator, building relationships and working well across various teams to provide one voice of launch deliverables to market and sales teams
Proven track record of managing highly detailed launch checklists and processes with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Uses AI to increase personal and team productivity and ideally has some experience building chatbots and AI agents to help people find relevant product information

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, Marketing or a related field
PMP, Agile, or other relevant project management certification
Experience launching products across global markets
Experience launching more than one of HP's commercial products to market
Familiarity with HP's commercial launch management tools and processes
