Regional Site Specialist

Responsibilities

Travel to multiple customer facilities across the Greater Boston region (70–80% travel) to support scheduled and unscheduled coverage needs
Manage inventory: stockrooms, POU areas, and product dispensing
Support order entry, order expediting, and customer service requests
Handle chemical management including receiving, registration, and tracking
Perform glass wash operations from cleaning through sterilization and inspection
Support dock, receiving, and shipping activities
Drive a culture of process improvement
Perform additional duties as assigned

Required

High school diploma or GED
Customer service experience
Reliable transportation
Strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service while upholding Thermo Fisher values
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills
Ability to work safely and adapt to varied work environments
May work in areas where chemical-based allergens are present
Required PPE may include lab coats, coveralls, hoods, masks, hairnets, gloves, steel-toe shoes (required for all colleagues), bump hats, and safety glasses
Regularly lift 30–40 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
Use equipment such as pushcarts, pallet jacks, cylinders, and forklifts; may push/pull up to 100 lbs
Long periods of standing, walking, and material handling
Work in varied temperature environments (cold rooms, outdoors, etc.)
Ability to work overtime or independently as needed

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in a related field
1+ year of experience in a laboratory environment
Knowledge of OSHA General Industry standards
GxP experience and IATA/DOT certification
