Responsibilities

Greet patients, families, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner

Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information

Schedule appointments and procedures accurately and efficiently

Perform insurance verification on the date of service

Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls courteously and promptly

Maintain work queues and complete pending scheduling, referral, and follow-up tasks

Check patients in and out and process referral documentation

Coordinate follow-up services, specialist appointments, and lab or report requests

Support continuity of care through scheduling and tracking systems

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical teams

Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and administrative policies

Assist with cross-training and coverage at other locations as needed
