Responsibilities
Analyze CAP bundles and classify RSECS into Enhancements, Regulatory items, or Corrections
Select appropriate test method per RSECS: SCRIPT, FFPP, or FFPP-possible
Determine usage of impacted processes (base vs homegrown) and recommend apply / comment / exclude decisions
Define regression scope when changes differ from prior implementations
Author and execute manual test scripts in Quality Center (QC/ALM) for batch and online components
Validate calculations, error handling, cross-screen integrity, end-of-term scenarios, and interfaces
Execute FFPP by replaying production files through batch and reconciling output deltas
Document variance explanations mapped to applicable RSECS
Plan and execute test enhancements alongside base changes for stability of custom/homegrown modules
Coordinate business reviews for Regulatory items and capture approvals
Maintain audit-ready traceability : RSECS → scripts → defects → sign-offs → CAP release notes
Follow AHM Test Management and structured change-control practices
Identify, log, and communicate defects; drive root-cause analysis and escalation
Partner with developers and operations to strengthen batch schedules and interfaces
Curate test data and manage environments and access for mainframe AF testing
Mainframe AF upgrade validation within CASS
CAP releases bundling multiple RSECS
FFPP batch comparisons and reconciliation
Validation of custom/homegrown modules and small enhancements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent experience
3–5+ years of mainframe QA/testing experience in financial services (automotive finance preferred)
Hands-on experience with CAP practices and RSECS analysis
Quality Center / ALM manual script authoring
FFPP execution and reconciliation
Test enhancements for custom/homegrown modules
Proficiency with mainframe batch processing, job control, scheduling, and file comparison
Strong defect management, reporting, and communication skills
High discipline around change control, traceability, and audit readiness
Preferred
3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience (preferred)
Stable work history within large enterprise organizations
