GRUBBS Family of Dealerships is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join their service team. The role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles based on experience, test results, and manufacturer guidelines
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections
Conduct pre-delivery service checks on new vehicles
Communicate findings and service recommendations to service advisors and customers
Keep vehicles and workspaces clean during and after repairs
Help maintain shop organization, safety, and inventory levels
Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time
Attend training sessions and staff meetings

Qualification

ASE certificationAutomotive technician experienceValid driver’s licenseManual transmission operationTeam-oriented environmentAttention to detailCommunication skillsWork ethic

Required

High school diploma or GED required
Minimum 1 year of automotive technician experience in a dealership or large facility (preferred Nissan)
Valid driver's license with a clean record
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles
Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and technical skills
Positive attitude with great communication and teamwork abilities
Must be able to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods

Preferred

ASE certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
