The ADS Direct Support Professional/Caregiver role involves assisting, supporting, and training individuals in various environments to help them learn new skills and engage in daily activities.

Assist, support, train and supervise individuals in either a work environment or a day service program environment
Services may be delivered within a structural setting and/or out in the community based upon consumer desires and programming opportunities
DSP's are expected to assist individuals to learn new skills and work towards maintaining existing skills as well as assisting the individual to choose and engage in activities of the day
Qualification
Required
