Responsibilities

Engaging in productive phone conversations with people who have developmental disabilities as well as their families and other stakeholders
Answering questions and addressing concerns
Conveying information about available human services, how to apply for services, and the timeframe for receiving services
Documenting details from phone conversations in a computer system

Required

Positive and optimistic attitude
Strong work ethic and a genuine desire to help others
Outstanding verbal communication and customer service skills
Patience, empathy and great active listening skills
Computer proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook

Preferred

Previous experience in scheduling, customer service, call center work, or a healthcare/human service role
Bilingual or conversational Spanish speaking skills aren't required but are highly valued
Priority consideration given to applicants with professional or personal experience supporting people who have disabilities
