Responsibilities
Implement and enforce company-wide safety policies and site-specific safety plans
Conduct jobsite safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing training initiatives
Ensure compliance with OSHA, USACE, and other federal or agency-specific requirements
Support project teams with pre-task planning, hazard analysis, and corrective action plans
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reporting, and metrics
Partner with superintendents and project managers to promote a proactive safety culture
Qualification
Required
5+ years of construction safety experience, preferably with a general contractor
Experience supporting federal, institutional, or similarly regulated projects strongly preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA standards; USACE or federal safety experience is a plus
Strong field presence and ability to work collaboratively with operations teams
Stable employment history and willingness to travel locally between jobsites
U.S. citizenship is required due to federal project guidelines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Safety, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
