Product Manager II, YouTube Shorts Consumption
Google is seeking a Product Manager II for YouTube Shorts Consumption to guide products from conception to launch. This role involves working cross-functionally to create a watch system for short-form video, ensuring a reliable viewing experience while collaborating with various teams to drive product development.

Responsibilities
Define the strategy, goals, roadmap, and success metrics for performance and reliability
Work collaboratively with partner teams to introduce valuable and relevant user journeys on Shorts
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, and Research teams to bring product goals to life
Utilize data-driven decision making to measure performance, identify improvement areas, and iterate on the product experience
Understand user needs translating insights into compelling product experiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in consumer product management or related technical role
2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch working with user experience (UX) and user experience researchers (UXR) to define user-facing product requirements
Experience driving experiments to grow metrics
Preferred
Master's degree or PhD in a technology or business related field
3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership
3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting)
2 years of experience in software development or engineering
2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, business, finance, and other stakeholders
1 year of experience in technical leadership
