Required
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design
Master's Degree and 4 years of relevant experience
Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
Ability to learn and understand the business
Identify opportunities for technology infusion
Drive change management
Perform value-assessments to inform evolving technology innovations, methods, and processes
Preferred
Desired experience includes evaluation, design, implementation, and validation of technology solutions
Experience translating end user needs into solution requirements
Ideal candidate will possess a combination of strong technical knowledge, strong collaboration, and strong communication skills
Experience with deploying first of a kind technical solutions
Knowledge of shipbuilding operations
