Responsibilities
Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to ensure designs are testable and provide feedback throughout the design process
Contribute to system concepts and architectures that promote design-for-test capabilities
Take mission focused requirements and develop them into a testable set of requirements
Develop the requisite test to verify the requirements including but not limited to ATP, DVT and qualification testing
Serve as system integrators and execute system validation activities
Coordinate and lead a team of 3 - 5 individual contributors to plan, execute, and document development and production testing in accordance with program objectives and requirements
Performs other duties as assigned
Able to take ownership of assignments and guide others as needed; successfully lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule
Derive plans, approaches, procedures for solving complex I&T problems across a program lifecycle, capturing all assumptions and adapting appropriately to changes in requirements with limited direction
Independently contributes high quality content for technical reports and presentations which shows an understanding of their task and an awareness of the intended audience. Demonstrates both confidence and success when presenting technical information during meetings with internal and external stakeholders
Identify program/system-level technical risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies
Actively mentor less experienced engineers and provide thoughtful, constructive feedback
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field
Requires 5-7 years in Systems Engineering or relevant role
Able to take ownership of assignments and guide others as needed; successfully lead tasks while tracking priorities, scope, cost and schedule

Applicants selected for this position will be required to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Current in scope Top Secret security clearance is required
Preferred
Experience in fast paced development environments
Experience interfacing with, operating, and troubleshooting environmental test equipment (rate tables, shakers, impact testers, thermal, humidity, and pressure chambers)
Experience automating and optimizing test infrastructure and processes
Experience with Python and test scripting
