Equipment Engineering Technician
Ericsson Inc. is seeking an Equipment Engineering Technician to provide first-level technical support for production equipment within their 5G Smart Factory. The role involves performing preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and modifications on manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal operation and continuous process control.

Responsibilities
Ensure all SMA department PMs are up to date and that all heads and feeders are in perfect working order
Maintain continuous process control and perform moderate data analysis to help determine preventive maintenance frequencies, increasing equipment uptime
Provide operational support, repairs, maintenance, calibration, and setup for current and newly installed manufacturing equipment
Communicate with vendors and coordinate vendor support and services
Prepare technical summary reports with recommended actions for equipment-related issues to share during shift changes and with Engineering and Management
Work closely with the inventory team to ensure sufficient levels of consumables and parts in the assigned department. Follow and update standard operating procedures as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of related technical experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, electro-mechanical systems, or electrical/electronics
Proficiency with documentation and computer programs, including Microsoft Office applications
Ability to read and interpret schematics, drawings, engineering specifications, and maintenance manuals, and to apply work instructions
Self-motivated, committed to delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision
Willingness to work overtime and/or flexible shift hours when required
Reliable and punctual attendance
Ability to lift items weighing more than 50 lbs
Availability for night shifts (10 pm–7 am), Monday through Friday
Preferred
Associate degree or higher in a technical field, or a minimum of 7 years of related experience preferred
At least 2 years of SMA/SMT maintenance experience is a plus
Familiarity with automation processes and related components
