This role involves collaborating with suppliers and internal teams to drive quality improvements and ensure product specifications meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement Supplier quality programs including continuous quality improvement initiatives

Drive and execute RMAs (Returned Material Authorization) and failure analyses, establish root causes, and drive corrective actions

Manage supplier quality performance management, lead end to end sustaining product quality metrics (e.g., metric calculation, metric resolution, trend review, internal reporting)

Perform regular audits of supplier manufacturing facilities and assess production control and quality programs, identify shortfalls to expectation, and directly secure resolution

Manage Product Change Notifications (PCNs) and drive appropriate evaluation and qualification with Engineering teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience

8 years of experience with OEM networking components and hardware/software design, manufacturing, characterization, qualification, testing, quality, reliability, field failures, No Trouble Found (NTF) and product issue resolution

8 years of experience in leading product and process non conformance: CAR, 8D and RMAs, failure analysis and reporting

8 years of experience of problem solving tools including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical process control principles

Preferred

Experience in project management with problem-solving tools, including design of experiments, root cause analysis, and statistical process control principles

Knowledge of and experience working with optical transport systems or routers

Ability to deliver, organize, adept driving actions, and resolve conflicts and communicate with ease at all levels
