Prescriptive Selling & Product Development Manager

The Prescriptive Selling & Product Development Manager is responsible for promoting Lafarge’s product portfolio and sustainability solutions, shaping project specifications for mega projects, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to position Lafarge solutions as the preferred choice.

Responsibilities
Adhere to enforce relevant legislation and policies, and ensure that highest degree of safety and safe working practices are maintained
Lead the implementation of prescriptive and value-based pricing and selling methodologies
Drive a cultural shift toward value selling across commercial teams
Quantify and communicate the total value proposition of Lafarge products and solutions
Map, prioritize, and influence consultants, architects, developers, and contractors
Build senior-level trusted-advisor relationships at design and decision-making stages
Position Lafarge specifications in project designs to secure pull-through demand
Represent Lafarge in industry seminars, technical committees, and forums
Support advocacy and lobbying related to sustainable construction
Position the company as an innovative market leader
Drive early engagement during pre-tender and tender phases of major projects
Promote ECOPlanet and other sustainable offerings to secure preferred-partner status
Ensure strong Lafarge presence in mega and infrastructure projects
Identify unmet customer needs and market gaps through field interaction
Work with R&D, marketing, and operations teams to develop new products and specifications
Support launch of innovative solutions, particularly sustainable and high-performance products
Monitor product performance and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
Work closely with Ready-Mix (RMX), Sales, and technical teams to tailor project solutions
Challenge and align plant and operations teams behind prescriptive selling strategies
Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality technical and commercial solutions
Drive the strategy and execution for the Oil & Mining segment
Design and implement fit-for-purpose solutions that align with overall business goals
Deliver actionable segment-specific insights to enhance market positioning and competitiveness
Serve as a technical and quality advisor across all segments
Ensure adherence to product performance standards
Support customers with technical guidance and solution optimization
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. (Civil – Chemical – Petroleum)
10+ years of experience in business development, consultative/solution selling, or construction materials
Strong knowledge of value-based/prescriptive selling techniques
Proven ability to engage and influence key industry stakeholders
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Strategic mindset with strong problem solving and influencing abilities
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and challenge operational practices constructively
Preferred
Experience with mega/infrastructure projects and sector-specific solutions (Oil & Mining preferred)
