Responsibilities

Cut, bend, and shape sheet metal to the required dimensions
Fabricating parts to shop sketches and engineering drawings with tolerance
Measure, cut, and weld pieces together according to specifications, blueprints, or directions
Connect pieces or secure seams by riveting, rolling, soldering, or using steel screws
Use appropriate machinery and software applications to complete assigned

Qualification

Required

Possess a valid Florida Driver's License
2 (two) years' experience in layout, fitting, pattern drafting, set up and manual CNC machines such as Laser, Press Break and Water Jet
Calculate bend allowances, cut, form, and fit all commercial metals: carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and copper alloys
Prior experience operating powered metal working machinery (shears, press brakes, and punching equipment)
Knowledge of powered hand tools and machines to sand, grind, and polish metals
Willingness to work in confined spaces and off of ladders
Align with all required regulatory training
Experience working from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions

Preferred

Experience in Mazak Laser and Omax Water Jet
Trade School Graduate and relevant certification
Expertise in CAD and BIM software and blueprint interpretation
