Bilingual Central Registration Technician

Responsibilities
Register patients accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorization requirements
Collect co-pays, deductibles, and required documentation in accordance with organizational policies
Update and maintain demographic and insurance information to ensure accuracy
Respond to inquiries and provide clear communication regarding the registration process and required documentation
Collaborate with clinical and administrative departments to support patient flow and resolve registration-related issues
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, privacy regulations, and organizational standards
Maintain organized records and follow established workflows and procedures
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED required
2–4 years of administrative, medical office, behavioral health, or office support experience required
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with strong reading and writing skills is required
Awareness of HIPAA Laws and Regulations
Preferred
Associate's degree preferred
Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Assistant, or Executive Assistant strongly preferred
