They are seeking an employment litigation associate to join their New Orleans office, where the candidate will provide legal services in labor and employment law, handling various responsibilities including legal research and client counseling.

Consulting

Responsibilities

Performing legal research
Drafting of legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings
Attending court conferences
Handling discovery-related activities and investigations
Drafting of position statements and dispositive motions
Counseling clients on employment-law-related matters

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctor
Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in Louisiana
During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice
Candidates must possess at least 5+ years of litigation experience
Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills are required

Preferred

Employment litigation experience is preferred
