Responsibilities
Work directly with the design team
Design engineered wood products such as I-joist, wood beams and connectors into residential and commercial blueprints
Provide customer support answering questions about personal designs and/or other team member designs
Identify and recommend the best products to customers for their specific job application
Utilize provided design software to interpret residential and commercial blueprints into structural placement estimate plans
Respond to customer and associate inquiries as needed to sell, train, and support engineered wood products
Qualification
Required
Basic knowledge of architecture and/or CAD Systems
Strong math skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be well organized and good at multi-tasking
Outgoing and professional personality, with a 'can do' attitude
